When I think about the vision God gave me for the Night of Hope events, its clear to see that God wanted me to facilitate opportunities for people to step towards freedom. But as I look back on the past two NOH events, I’m not sure I’ve done the best job of meeting that objective. That is why I am so excited to announce the latest addition to the Night of Hope format…“The After Party”.
If you’ve never been to a Night of Hope event, go see what you are missing by watching the previous events here.
But for those of you who have, you know that at the end of the night we always have a host of great resources from all over Oklahoma available for people to engage with, ask questions and seek out help. This has all be well and good, don’t get me wrong. In fact, we’ve heard tremendous stories over the past year of lives being changed because of the conversations had after Night of Hope events. But again, I’ve felt as though there has been more to give, more we could do.
So this year we are doing more….. Way MORE! We’re throwing a party!
Here’s the rundown.
The After Party will run from roughly 9-11.
We will have a coffee bar set-up, snacks available, tons of resources, booths set-up, HUGE giveaways, Photo Op’s with the Darryl Strawberry & Annie Lobert and incredible music by one of OKC’s top talents– Will Gaines. After all, whats a party without some great music. This is going to be a party you won’t want to miss. And because we’ve moved the event to Friday night, everyone can stay out a little later…. yea!
So to wrap it up, this is what you need to know…. This year’s Night of Hope OKC will be the best opportunity you will have all year to have a conversation about a struggle in your live or the life of a loved one. If you need help, you need to be at the after party, if someone you know needs help, get them to the after party. The after party is all about giving people real chances to change their life!
I want to create an atmosphere of freedom, grace and acceptance. A place where real conversations can happen. Where NO ONE feels alone, different or outcast. A place where everyone is accepted, loved and given the chance to take a step towards freedom.
So…..Will you come? Will you bring someone who needs help?
