Reason #6 Volunteers

One thing is for sure about Night of Hope Tulsa. We will have the BEST Volunteers of any event this side of the Mississippi! God has brought to our organization some of the kindest, most compassionate and hard working people I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing. These fine folks have been working like crazy getting everything ready just for YOU! Why? First, they want this to be a night YOU will never forget. Second, because the mission of Hope is Alive Ministries means something to them. It touches their heart and gives them hope.  But our volunteers know that this HOPE they have found is not just for them, it was given to them so they could share it with YOU. That is why they are so passionate about making Night of Hope Tulsa so special. Our volunteers want to give you the hope they have received. In short, they want to deal some hope!
In fact, they’re so jacked up their inviting everyone they know! Here’s a snippet from one of the dozen or so FB invites I’ve seen over the past few weeks. It shows just how much this night and our ministry means to so many people.

I apologize for tagging you all in this post, but since you are my Facebook friend, I wanted to make sure you are aware of the upcoming Night Of Hope! In a nutshell, NOH, is an event sponsored and put on by Hope Is Alive Ministries. This ministry, in a nutshell, deal with addictions. Those currently in, or recovering from addictions of all types. I had a chance to hear Lance Lang speak last summer. His powerful testimony will always have a special place in my heart. I’ve never had a drug addiction, but gambling did consume my life for a couple years. The patterns to addictions are all basically the same. Also, addictive behavior has had a grasp on my family as some of you know. Basically I lost my oldest brother due to his addictions. I first lost our relationship for many years, then most recently lost any hope of contacting him again due to his passing a couple of months ago. This is why Hope Is Alive ministry is important to me. We all know someone that this affects, friend, family, coworker, whatever. Click on the link to find out more about the Night of Hope on May 1. It’s gonna be a powerful, life changing, hope providing event.”
